Department: Education and Social Sciences 

Adjunct Instructor – Sociology, HV-ADJ-Sociology S26

Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Sociology or related discipline with 12 earned graduate credits in sociology from an accredited college or university. Must have the availability to teach on campus daytime classess
 
Preferred Qualifications: Experience teaching introductory Sociology courses at the college level, experience with learning management systems (Brightspace D2L). 

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Provide instruction in appropriate courses.

Evaluate student performance.

At the direction of the Department Chairperson, Adjunct faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract. 

The rate per contact hour is $1,457.00.
